Commodore Hotel Helensburgh has now become the
Travelodge Helensburgh Seafront

The former Commodore hotel was taken over by Travelodge and the new Travelodge Helensburgh opened its doors on 2nd November 2010
The Commodore Hotel was an Innkeepers Lodge.

Situated on the main road on the seafront of Helensburgh, overlooking the picturesque Firth of Clyde and Gareloch, this budget lodge hotel is just five miles from the shores of Loch Lomond in the heart of Scotlands first national park.

The Travelodge Helensburgh has 44 bedrooms and half of the rooms overlook the river Clyde and all rooms are non-smoking. All the rooms are comfortably furnished with all the facilities for a restful stay.  All bedrooms have en suite shower room facilities.   
Facilities include : TV with Freeview and tea and coffee making facilities. 

Should you require an ironing board and iron, a hairdryer, any extra pillows, sheets or towels please ask at reception.
There is Free Parking on a first come basis and WiFi is available. Early check-in or late checkout is also available.
Most Travelodge hotels sell a range of basic toiletries from vending machines in reception.

Helensburgh is a seaside resort town in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It lies on the north shore of the Firth of Clyde and the eastern shore of the entrance to the Gare Loch. Helensburgh was founded in 1776 by Sir Ian Colquhoun of Luss and was named after his wife Helen.
The paddle steamer Waverley calls in to Helensburgh pier during summer sailings and a regular passenger ferry service runs from Helensburgh pier to Kilcreggan and Gourock
